Facebook one of the earliest social media platforms currently the largest social media site in the world.

According to Facebook, it has 3 Billion users and according to Statista, It holds more than 2.6 billion monthly active users record as of 2020 which means every social media user is on Facebook.

If there are so many people are in there we can definitely say that there is a Market potential rite. It is an excellent platform for brands, businesses to market their products to a huge audience.

Users can share text posts, links, images, and videos with their Facebook friends. They can follow people and pages and react to people’s posts on the platform. Brands can promote their products using paid ads on Facebook and organic followers are also possible.

However, there is a downside to it. Till 2018 it is easy to divert Facebook traffic to your site if you're a Blogger, but they have decided it be a closed-loop system. It means they want their users to stay on their platforms as long as possible.

The only place where you can place your website link is on your profile page. Just like in the olden days you can not place links in the descriptions which will take the reader to the blog.

How to Set Goals the SMART Way - TLNT

How to Set Realistic and Achievable Goals, it may be a carrier or Business. Everything boils down to these 6 Points.

  • YOUR GOALS SHOULD BE MEASURABLE
  • YOUR GOALS SHOULD BE CHALLENGING BUT ATTAINABLE
  • YOUR GOALS SHOULD MOTIVATE YOU
  • DETERMINE HOW YOU ARE GOING TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS
  • ASSESS YOUR COMMITMENT
  • YOUR GOAL SHOULD BE TIME-BOUND
Understand your strengths and weakness. and ask these questions regularly. "Why are you doing this?", "How long am I going to do this?"

If you have a clear answer and have a clear vision then you are good to go.

3. "DD" Differentiate or Die

You might be king on retail, I mean to say physical shop. when it comes to Digital, it is totally different. You need to differentiate from day one.

There is a famous Quote in Branding. "Differentiate or Die". These 2 Words are really very important for everyone in this world right now. The simple reason is there are many focused on the internet.

Differentiate or Die

Unless you and I differentiate ourselves selves we can not survive this competitive world.

The Simplest way is to follow your competitors and try and think one step ahead of them. I know this is not easy. So be you.

Just of the sake of the internet don't make your self a joker. If you don't be yourself, there will be serious consequences. You can not be happy even though you make millions.

"Don't Follow the Trend Create a New Trend" I know this sounds a bit lame. But it is the Truth. I learned it very way.

4. Create your Facebook Business Page

Many cases people use their personal id for business. This works as well. But if you want to be authentic then you need to have Facebook Page. This is more reliable and useful not only to promote products but also to reach a large customer base.

Before you get started creating a Facebook business page, you need to log into your personal Facebook account. However, your personal account will not be publicly visible on your business page.

To you as an Admin, both are the same, But for outsiders the uses both are different. and each other profiles seem different.

So, if you’re not already logged into your personal account, log in now, then dive into the Page creation steps.

Step 1. Sign up to Facebook Page
Step2. Fill in the details like profile images and other stuff.
Step3. Create user names and categories.
Step4. Tell about your self, like your services and products.
Step5. Create the First post and publish it.
Step6. Get to Know - more

5. Brand your self "Logo" and "Design"

One other thing, Colour and design/Patterns, Offerings, and more. Upload your profile and cover photos. Make sure to use the optimum image sizes for Facebook so they look their best.

Branding is a must. You know how much does coca-cola spends on branding and Ads! Approx 14 to 16% of their Revenue.

6. Plan your content mix

You might have heard this Content is the King. rite.

Content is the King-Billgates
Bill Gates might have said this in 1996, but it is still working today.

You need to be regular to Facebook. only then facebook would suggest to others. Just like Google, Facebook looks for consistency and frequency.

You can also auto-post or schedule the content. However, for better effectiveness, you need to be regular to Facebook.

7. Optimize your Page for engagement

In order to achieve Facebook marketing goals, you need to showcase your self a lot, you need to make it easy for people to find your Facebook Page. And you need to compel them to Like your Page once they get there.

In many cases, I mean to say  60 to 70% of the cases small business owners don't know how to analyze or optimize their audience needs.

They have little to non-knowledge of to optimize users' pages. They try heard pushing their products but they fail to understand the audience's needs.

You need to understand what is going on in your Facebook page. what are people looking for and what are they interested in. Only then you can be successful on Facebook.

8. Call-to-action is Must

A call-to-action button gives people a quick and easy way to reach out to you, shop for your products, or otherwise engage with your business.

If you are selling products especially and your focused niche is ner to your location they are 100% more likely to buy through Facebook.

Make sure you regularly change the prices and offers. This way you can attract more business to your shop through Facebook.

Click Add a Button under your cover photo to set one up and also add the products. Place the most used or usable products on the top. So that you can find what is he/she looking quickly.

If you're a blogger or a website owner then you need to follow different approaches. Most of the cases Bloggers and website owners try to drive traffic to their site through Facebook. Till 2018 it was easy. But Facebook has changed that.

Nowadays bloggers are trying to build a brand around them by establishing a Community. You should add a call to the action button as well.

9. Review your Facebook Page regularly

Facebook Regureally updates the Facebook pages and more, so you need to use it regularly to know what's going on.

Your Facebook Page settings give you custom control over who sees what on your page.

Some times we make mistakes like posting feeds or content but we forget to set it to the public instead of within-group. This means no one else could see what you have posted.

Other mistakes like some else tagging to your page and traffic to their sites. Which is legal as long as you are okay with it. You can also avoid this by limiting access.

Or you can hire Facebook consultants to review your Facebook as well. But it costs a little bit. My advice is to ask someone about our site of your community and show the page. If they are happy about it and they are willing to accept what you're saying then you're good.

Check out misleading attachments. You might get banned as well.

10. Tracking, Measuring and Rectifying

Facebook marketing is not a set-it-and-forget-it strategy. You’ve got to track and measure performance so you can see what worked and what didn’t. This will reveal how you can improve your strategy in the future.

Facebook offers built-in audience engagement tracking through Facebook Insights. You can measure:

  • likes
  • reach
  • engagement
  • which of your posts are giving results

Facebook Insights will also help you determine which post types work best for your Page, so you’ll know if your current content mix is working. There are other tools as well, like Google Analytics and more.
